Ancestor - Niels Christensen
Christen Nielsen was born around 1689, estimated from his age when he died. His parents and birthplace are unknown.
Maren Andersdatter was born April 1687, estimated from her age when she died, but her parents and birthplace are unknown.
They got married before 1730, when their son Niels was born, but where and when has not been found. Christen was 41 years, and Maren was 43 years old.
They lived in Myrup from around 1730. Christen Nielsen was a smallholder in Myruphus. His son Niels Christensen was only 13 years old when Christen Nielsen died in 1743, so it was probably his mother who took over the copyhold, until he got married in 1749.
”Christen Nielsen of Myrup” died 54 years old and was buried 11th August 1743 in Lild Parish. His widow was then 56 years old and his son 13 years old.
Maren Andersdatter died 21 years later, 78 years old as ”widow in Glæde” and was buried 25th March 1765 in Lild Parish. Myruphus belonged at that time to the village Glæde By, so she probably died at Myruphus at her son Niels.
They had at least one child. I haven’t found other siblings. The parish register for Lild Parish is deficient before 1728. But due to their age at Niels’s birth they might have had more children born before Niels Christensen.
1. Niels Christensen born in Myrup and baptized 6th July 1730 in Lild Parish - Ancestor.
There is some uncertainty if this Niels Christensen in Myrup is the same as Niels Christensen in Myrup who was the father of Christen Nielsen born in 1749. There is a difference in age between the two Niels Christensen. If his age at his death (b. 1728-1729) is compared with his age in the census in 1787 (b. 1724-1725) it might seem as it is not the same Niels Christensen, who was born in 1730. On the other hand, it does not seem right that they should have had two children with name Niels. Then, it is not unusual that the age can differ for the same person in the censuses. So it is very likely the same person.

Ancestress - Maren Pedersdatter
We don’t know anything about Niels Christensen’s wife Maren Pedersdatter's ancestry – Ancestress. But from her age at her death she was born in July 1715.
Niels Christensen, called Niels Myrup, was born 1730 in Myrup, Lild Parish as son of ”Christen Nielsen and Maren Andersdatter in Myrup” and baptized ’Niels’ 6th July 1730 at Lild Church. Jens Nielsen and Jens Mogensen both of Glæde, Jens Andersen at Kæret, Anne Andersdatter at Kæret and Maren Pedersdatter in Myrup were godparents at his baptism.
Maren Pedersdatter was born July 1715 estimated from her age when she died, but her parents and birthplace are unknown.
They got married before 1749, when they had their first child. The weeding is not found in Lild and Tømmerby parishes. Niels was 18 years old, and Maren was 15 years older than him, 33 years old. It seems not right that Niels got married at age 18. According to the law you had to be 21 years old. The question is whether this Niels Christensen is the right one; see above considerations.
Niels Christensen Myrup was a smallholder at Myruphus. His son Christen Nielsen took over the copyhold of Myruphus before 1787, probably when he got married in the beginning of the 1770ies.
“Niels Myrup’s wife Maren Pedersdatter” died 63 years old and was buried 9th August 1778 in Lild Parish.
”Niels Myrup at Myruphuus” died 21 years later as widower, 68 years old at his son Christen Nielsen Myrup at Myruphus, Lild Parish and was buried 21st March 1799. In the parish register it says he was 70 years old at his death (b. 1728).
According to the census from 1787 for Thisted County, Vester Han District, Lild Parish, Nørklit, where the age of Niels Christensen does not match (b. 1724-1725):
